Australian

Australasian Paediatric Endocrine Group
The paediatric endocrine  group of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Established in 1982 it represents over 100 members in Australia and New Zealand.
Royal Australasian College of Physicians : Regional and General Paediatrics
The RGPS is a Special Interest Group of the Division of Paediatrics & Child Health of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. It is open to all regional and general paediatricians.

International

American Academy of Pediatrics
  The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is an organization of 60,000 pediatricians committed to the attainment of optimal physical, mental, and social health and well-being for all infants, children, adolescents and young adults.
American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
  This site provides information on child and adolescent psychiatry, fact sheets for parents and caregivers, AACAP membership, current research, practice guidelines, managed care information, awards and fellowship descriptions and meeting information.
International Pediatric Association
Includes information on congresses, seminars and workshops, association publications, policies and member societies.
National Institute of Child Health and Human Development
The NICHD is part of the US Department of Health & Human Services. It conducts and supports laboratory research, clinical trials, and studies with people that explore health processes as well the impact of disabilities, diseases, and defects on the lives of individuals and training programs for scientists, doctors, and researchers.
Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health
The professional organisation for paediatricians in the UK, the College conducts paediatric research, organises meetings and conferences and  publishes papers and guidelines of relevance to paediatric practice. It is also  reponsible for the oversight of postgraduate training and examinations.
World Health Organisation Division of Child Health and Development
The main objectives of  WHO's CAH are to reduce illness and death among children and adolescents and to improve the health and development of children and adolescents.
The World Health Report 2005 - Make Every Mother and Child Count, says that this year almost 11 million children under five years of age will die from causes that are largely preventable. Among them are 4 million babies who will not survive the first month of life. At the same time, more than half a million women will die in pregnancy, childbirth or soon after.
