Services for Teaching Hospitals

Eligibility
UNSW Staff and postgraduate students working at one of the University's affiliated Teaching Hospitals (Sydney region) or Research Centres.

Services for Off-Campus Users
Services for Off-Campus Users enable eligible staff and students to request books and journal articles from UNSW Library and other locations.

UNSW IT Services/Access to Library resources
ITS is responsible for delivering information and communication technology services to the UNSW community. They are responsible for services such as email and internet access. These services are also provided for Affiliated Hospital and Research Centre Staff.

In order to use these services and gain access to Library resources, you will need a Unipass. To apply for a Unipass you must fill out an application form called CU08 - Communications Access for Hospital staff. This form is for non UNSW Staff members, employed by a Teaching Hospital/Research Institute affiliated with UNSW. Access is granted to Hospital Staff for a period of up to 12 months, with option for renewal. This form must be authorised by a Head of Unit within the Faculty of Medicine who is a UNSW staff member.

Subject Guides
The University Library has an extensive list of subject guides to help you with your research, including access to relevant databases, organisations, references sources, internet sites, journals, and online textbooks
