Moys Scheme

Understanding Law Library item numbers

The Law Library uses the Moys Classification Scheme to arrange its materials. This scheme was chosen due to the size of the collection and the limitations of the Dewey Decimal System for classifying legal materials. A table listing the main subject areas is produced below.
