Printed Maps
The Map Room on Level 7 has a range of maps including; topographic, geological, orthophoto, planning and other specialised maps.  Guides on the use of the collection are available in the Map Room. Enquire at the Level 2 Services Desk.

NSW Department of Lands - Lands Spatial Portal
 
The GeoSpatial Portal is the gateweay to spatial data across New South Wales. The GSP application has been designed to allow users to view both cadastral and topographic data at the same time, and to print this data as it exists on the screen.

NSW Department of Lands - Parish Maps
 
The Parish Maps site give access to the state's historical and eventually current Parish, Town, County and Municipal maps are being collected and digitally photographed in District Office sets. 
 
Images of Pastoral Maps, which show Pastoral Runs from the mid 1800s, are also available for viewing on this site.
 
Australia
 
Geoscience Australia is Australia's national agency for geoscience research and geospatial information. Online maps include scanned 1:250 000 Geology maps, as well as a number of interactive maps.
 
International
 
As well as maps the CIA World Factbook provides information about the people, government, economy, communications etc of the nations of the world.
 
The USGS serves the United States by "providing reliable scientific information to describe and understand the Earth; minimize loss of life and property from natural disasters; manage water, biological, energy, and mineral resources." Includes lots of dynamic maps
 
Produced by the Cartography Section of Utrecht University .The link pages refer to more than 9,750 links of maps and atlases. This is one of the most popular and successful map and cartographic sites available.
 
The Perry-Castaneda Library Map Collection is a general collection of more that 250,000 maps covering all areas of the world. More that 5,000 map images from the collection are available online.
