The Serials Department is responsible for the provision of the Library's serial publications and databases in all subject areas, formats, and languages. We also create and maintain appropriate online access to these resources.

Serial resources include scholarly journals, government and legal publications, conference proceedings, periodicals, annuals, monographic series and other continuing titles. The Department is responsible for the acquisition, processing and binding of these materials, whether they are donated or are purchased by subscription. This process includes ordering, cataloguing, receipt, claiming and reporting of detailed information through the Aleph Library Management System.

In addition, the Department provides and maintains online access to databases & electronic journals via Sirius, and the Library Resources Database (LRD).
