EndNote

EndNote is bibliographic software that allows you to store, organise and manage your references in a database (called an EndNote library). These references can be linked to your word processing documents to instantly create in-text citations and bibliographies in the referencing style that you require.

How to obtain a copy of EndNote

EndNote software is free to staff and students of UNSW, including the COFA Campus. It is not available to staff and students of ADFA.

There are 3 ways to obtain a copy of the software:

  1. Download the EndNote software (for either PC or Mac) from the IT Services website. Note: this is a large file in zipped format and is not suitable for download on a dial-up connection. You will be required to enter a valid student/staff number and UniPass.
  2. Obtain the software on CD from the IT Service Desk at Main Library, Kensington Campus. You will be required to show your staff/student card and fill out a form to receive the software.
  3. Download the software at COFA and burn it on to CD. CDs are available for purchase from the Digital Print & Copy Service, located in Room F108, F Block College of Fine Arts, UNSW.
If you are having trouble installing, configuring or running the software, you may contact the IT Service Desk on ext. 51333 (9385-1333 from off campus) or e-mail the IT Service Desk
