5 | Interpreting your search results

Once you have sent your search a new screen with a list of results will be displayed. Result records appear in brief form displaying Author, Title, Year and Holdings. Click on the headings Author, Title or Year to sort your list by Author, Title or Year.

The last column in the results table gives the call number and an availability link for the items displayed. To locate the item in the library you will need to write down the call number.
more about call numbers
Click the Check Availability? link to find where in the library the item is located and if it is available.
Click the Online Access link to access the electronic version of the item.
Click the Print Holdings link to get the call number for the item and a list of which volumes and issues are held in the library. (This link is usually used for journals.)
