How to ... Using Sirius

 2 | Access to Sirius
To access Sirius go to http://sirius.library.unsw.edu.au or click on the link from the Library's home page. There are four main spaces in Sirius. These are:
Find Resource: This space allows you to select and access the databases and all other electronic resources except for ejournals
Find e-Journal: This space allows you to select and access ejournals
MetaSearch: MetaSearch allows you to search up to 8 resources at one time
MySpace: This space allows you to create your own lists of resources and ejournals; save and store searches and search results; create and send email alerts

When you access Sirius you are automatically taken to the Find Resource screen. Click the tabs at the top of the screen to access the other spaces.

To access the MetaSearch and My Space options in Sirius you will need to log on using your staff/student number (including the s or z prefix) and Unipass. You will also need your staff/student number and Unipass to access resources and ejournals if you are off campus.

If you don't know your UniPass, or are having problems with your UniPass, you should contact the IT Service Desk. The IT Service Desk is located on Level 2 of the Library Building. Contact details are:
servicedesk@unsw.edu.au | (02) 9385-1777 | www.disconnect.unsw.edu.au
