11 | Saving your results : Saving, emailing, exporting
 
Saving, emailing or exporting a record from the MetaSearch results screen
To save, email or export a record from the MetaSearch results screen you need to go to the Full View for the record. To do this click the Full View link or click on the title of the article.
From the Full View screen:
Click the
icon to save the record to your PC
Click the
icon to export the record to a citation manager such as EndNote
Click the
icon to email the record
Note: A record cannot be saved, emailed or exported directly from the List View or Brief View displays. However, records can be added to the eShelf from these screens by clicking the icon.
 
Note: Records can only be saved, emailed or exported one at a time from the Metasearch results Screen. You need to send items to the eShelf if you wish to save, email or export a list of records.
 
Saving, emailing or exporting records from the eShelf
To save, email or export a list of records from the eShelf:
1) From your eShelf folder click on the List View or Brief View screen
2) Select the records you want to save, email or export by clicking the checkboxes
3) Click the save/email link from the top of the screen
4) Click the Save option to save records to your PC
5) Click the Save option, then select citation manager, to export records to EndNote
6) Click the Send option email the records
Note: A record can also be saved, emailed or exported from the Full View screen by clicking the or icon.
