University of New South Wales - Library - Loan periods for borrowing items from UNSW Library

Item type	Loan Period
Standard loan	4 weeks UNLESS RECALLED 6 months for staff UNLESS RECALLED
Items with multiple reservations	3 days for items reserved by more than one person
Recalled items	must be returned within 7 days of the reservation being placed or by the due date if it is less than 7 days. The new due date will appear in your Borrower Record
Multimedia collection Videos and DVDs (Level 2, Main Library) CDs	academic staff - 5 days; students - 2 hours. No overnight loans. For class presentations ask at Information Desk for a non-staff borrowing form 2 hours. Music students have priority. No overnight loans
MyCourse collection MyCourse Reserve (Main & Freehills Libraries) MyCourse (Main Library Information Desk) overnight loans	2 hours 2 hours, use in Library only. No overnight loans you may borrow an item overnight in the 2 hours prior to Information Desk closing. Overnight loans must be returned to the Library no later than 1 hour after the Information Desk opens the next day (check your loans docket)
Stack loans (Main Library)	1 day (See Stack Collection)
College of Fine Arts Library slides videos CDs sound effects CDs interactive CDs overnight loans	slides (staff - 3 weeks; students - 2 weeks ) videos must be returned on the same day as borrowed and can be taken to Kensington campus if required. Staff can apply via Film & Video service CDs - 4 weeks sound effects CDs - 1 day interactive CDs - 4 weeks available for loan weekdays from 4pm to 9am the following day available for loan weekends from 4pm Friday to 9am Monday
