Opening hours

Self service photocopying, scanning and printing are available during general Library opening hours.

Where can I photocopy, scan or print ?

Kensington Campus Library:

  • Photocopying and printing All levels
  • Colour copying and printing available on Level 2
  • Transparency copying available on Level 2
  • Scanning available on Level 2
College of Fine Arts Library:

  • Both levels; B/W A4 and A3 copying and B/W A4 transparency copying
  • Colour A4 transparency copying available on Ground floor only
  • A3 transparency photocopying available in Digital Print and Copy, Room 108, 1st Floor, F Block
How do I photocopy, scan or print ?

Photocopying copy cards are required for all photocopiers, scanners, microfiche readers and printers.

Buying a copy card

Kensington:

STUDENTS - purchase a copy card for $2 from a card machine located on:

  • Level 2 opposite the Service Desk
  • Level 4
  • Level 7
  • The card will be credited with .50c
STAFF - purchase a copy card by:

  • Completing the staff application form
  • Bring this form to the Print and Copy Service on Level 2 in the Library
  • Please note: During busy times there may be a wait of 1 hour in processing requests
COFA:

STUDENTS - purchase a copy card for $2.20 from the mini-cashier located:

  • Photocopying room, Level 1 (coins only)
  • Digital Print and Copy Unit, room F108, F Block (notes and coins)
STAFF - Academic staff should consult the School Secretary or contact the Library.


Charging or recharging your copy card

Please note: The copy card recharging machines do not give change. There is no provision for refunds. Copy cards must be recharged at the campus where they were purchased.

The copy card must be charged or have value added up to the amount required, before it can be used for photocopying. The card is debited each time a photocopy is made.

Kensington:

STUDENTS:
Charging/recharging of copy cards may be done at any of the copy card machines located on:

  • Photocopying room, Level 1 (coins only)
  • Digital Print and Copy Unit, Room F104, F Block (notes and coins)
STAFF:
Staff library copy cards are recharged by the COFA cashier. Please consult the School Secretary.
