Renewals

There are two possible methods of renewing your items on loan:

1.Your Borrower Record which can be accessed via the top right link on the Library catalogue (LRD) - further information for accessing your Borrower Record;

2. By telephone (during Library opening hours):

  • (02) 9385 2650 (Kensington campus);
  • (02) 9385 0713 (College of Fine Arts, Paddington).
Please note:

  • You cannot renew an item if another borrower has Reserved it (the item has been Recalled);
  • you cannot renew an item if you are blocked from borrowing;
  • you can renew an item unlimited times for a period of sixteen (16) weeks - once this limit has been reached take the item(s) to any Loans Desk for reissue - provided the item has not been recalled;
  • you can renew an overdue item, however upon its return you will incur an overdue fine;
  • Academic and General staff can borrow for a period of 6 months before the item(s) must be taken to any Loans Desk for reissue (you will be notified via e-mail) - provided the item has not been recalled;
